LSU '07 team and Les Miles to be honored at halftime Saturday for 10 year anniversary

The 2007 LSU championship team will be honored at halftime this Saturday in Death Valley during the game between the Tigers and Auburn. Members of the '07 squad and former Coach Les Miles are all slated to attend the reunion on the field. LSU Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette says this group has certainly made their mark on the Tiger legacy.

LSU moves Fan Day to coincide with Spring game

LSU has announced that fans will have to wait a little longer to take pictures and get autographs from their favorite players and coaches, as the annual Fan Day has been moved to the spring. Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette said there are many construction projects taking place on campus which just didn't make Fan Day feasible this fall.

SEC postpones LSU-Florida game

The SEC announces the LSU-Florida game has been postponed because of Hurricane Matthew. LSU Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette says they offered Tiger Stadium as a host site for the game.

LSU still scheduled to play in Gainesville on Saturday

The University of Florida announces that Saturday’s LSU-Florida game will not be moved out of Gainesville, even as Hurricane Matthew is approaches the Sunshine State. But it’s still up in the air on whether or not the 11am kickoff will have to be delayed. LSU’s Sports Information Director, Michael Bonnette, says they expect to have more information by noon Thursday.

Les Miles in Cuba for spring break and baseball

The president isn't the only one making a trip to Cuba this week as LSU coach Les Miles is also in the Pearl of the Antilles. Former Tiger baseball star Mikie Mahtook, who currently plays for Tampa Bay, tweeted that The Mad Hatter would be on hand to watch the Rays play the Cuban National Team.

LSU star running back Leonard Fournette is on the cover of this week's national Sports Illustrated magazine. The No. 6 Tigers remain undefeated on the year thanks to help from the sophomore who has averaged more than 200 yards per game and scored 12 of the team's 22 touchdowns this season.

LSU not using contraflow after football games this year

LSU football starts this weekend and there are a few traffic changes for fans to know about. LSU Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette says contraflow after the games will no longer be used on Nicholson Drive, but they plan to utilize Burbank Drive more, which is a four-lane road, to help fans exit campus.

LSU's contraflow plan to get tested with SEC home opener

The largest crowd to ever watch a football game in Tiger Stadium is expected Saturday when the Tigers face SEC West foe Mississippi State. The game is nearly sold-out in, which means 100-thousand tickets have been sold and LSU Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette says this will put to test their contralow plan after the game.

Old Tiger Stadium lockers to be sold to fans

LSU is selling old lockers from Tiger Stadium in a fundraising effort. The Jeff Boss Locker Room is in the process of a complete renovation and the old lockers from 1996- 2013 are being sold. LSU Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette says this is a rare opportunity for fans.

LSU football fans need to be aware parking lots are now numbered

LSU fans heading to the game this Saturday need to be aware of changes to the parking lots. Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette says the parking lots on campus are now numbered, instead of lettered. 

"It's going to be a lot easier for fans to navigate through campus and find their lot," Bonnette said. "It's not going to change where they park, it will have a number designated instead of a letter."
