A Clinton man police allege killed three and injured one in East Feliciana and East Baton Rouge Parishes is in custody. Police arrested 36-year-old Ryan Sharpe Wednesday. They say Sharpe shot and killed 66-year-old Carroll Breeden, 62-year-old Thomas Bass and Brad DeFranceshi since July. He also injured 47-year-old Buck Hornsby last month. Breeden’s daughter, Marcy Breeden Flotte, says her grieving may never end.
"Will I ever find out why and even if he said I just wanted to do it, I don't think I'll ever get peace", Flotte said.
Flotte is upset that living in a rural area in the town of Pride did not protect her family.
"It's very unfortunate that this guy lived 10 miles, 15 miles away from my hometown. I've lived out here my whole life. That part is a little disturbing", Flotte said.
Flotte says even though Sharpe is off the streets, she has questions remaining as to why the killings happened.
"My dad was loved by so many, I just don't understand why, but I just don't know what's wrong with people", Flotte says.
Officials expect to charge Sharpe with one count of murder in East Baton Rouge Parish and two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder in East Feliciana Parish.
